I can hardly believe it is only 25 days until Christmas....WOW! Seems like the last couple of months have flown by! I saw a challenge from CardzTV to make a card with Green, Red, White and Pink....only. Sounded like fun! I made a couple of cards for that challenge. I haven't used the Cricut Craft Room in over a year...I just couldn't get "in" to it I guess. I decided to give it another go and used it for the cuts from Christmas Cheer and A Quilted Christmas. To be different the pictures were taken with the cards in the lighted Christmas trees. I redid my craft room and front room this summer. I painted both rooms then had new carpet put down...love them! Used the same color for the walls, but they look entirely different. The front room has a bay window and the furniture is white, except for the daybed...I painted it blue and spray painted hammered nickel on the metal pieces on the walls. I changed all the face plates for the lights and outlets to a nickel plate and replaced the door handles and hinges to nickel as well. I already had a white tree, so it is up in front of the window with blue and silver ornaments and white flashing lights and stationery colored lights. Looks so cool in that room with the white, blue and silver decor!
I used the Baby Jesus silhouette cut from Cricut cartridge A Quilted Christmas, the striped Recollections paper I got at Michael's and the stamp from there as well. Here is that picture taken in the tree set up in the den:
The word "joy" is from Christmas Cheer. Papers used were from my scraps, for the tree cuts as well. The package ribbon is some I had gotten a couple of years ago from a local craft store. The dot for the "j" is a clear gem I colored pink with a Sharpie marker and the trees sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I love how this one came together, too. Here it is in the white tree:
There were fun to make and I really love the colors together! I hope this Christmas is the best ever for each of you that view my post! Remember, Jesus is the Reason for the Season!!
Merry Christmas!!
