I colored the flowers with a dark yellow marker from Spectrum Noir and a rust colored marker for the centers. I really enjoyed seeing this come together! Thanks for your time, hope you have a full blessed day!!

Gina K Design inspiration
This card was inspired by Gina K from stampTV.com, this was a new technique for me. Taking an acrylic block, inking it with Tim Holtz mustard seed colored distress ink and then "stamping" on a piece of white card stock. It gives a blotched effect. Once it dried, I stamped the flower in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and layered on black cardstock. On one side I used a edge punch and black with white dot ribbon on the other side of the panel. Then adhered to the top of the rust colored card base. I love how it turned out. I never thought of using a block to stamp on cardstock. Gina K is so talented! I love her cards and the various techniques she makes everything look so easy!
Autumn Leaves
The second card I made for challenges was made with scraps using my new ticket punch and Darice embossing folder I just got from Hobby Lobby on Saturday. I loved the leaf paper and the leaf embossing folder. I used Wink of Stelia brown pen over the stamped words....the sparkle is so pretty.
Hope you like how it turned out! God bless
Fun with Spectrum Noir markers
It has been a long time!! A lot of things going on with me the last few months, will save that story for another day! I have been looking at a number of blogs lately and wanted to get back to challenges. So many beautiful cards on the blogs I just wanted to use some of that inspiration to get started again.
This card was inspired by one of the blogs to measure 3 - 1 inch blocks into a square and using the Spectum Noir markers by coloring the blocks then using the blending pen solution to give it a blotched look, stamped the leaf with Memento Black ink after it had dried. Love the affect! Matted it with the butterscotch color, then black and used an embossing folder for the layer on top of the black card base.

CARDZ TV Birthday Card Challenge
Yay!!! I'm finally getting back to participating in challenges! I had a request from a lady to make a birthday card for a boy....with a game controller on it. WOW! So I went out to the Silhouette Online Store and found one and bought it, then had a brain freeze on what to do. I decided to get some inspiration from others, so logged in to Youtube and searched "Birthday card ideas for game controller"....found this neat shaped card....and the BEST part, it had the site where to get a free download! The site is www.birdscards.com, I looked through the free downloads and found it. I downloaded it into Silhouette and it was a breeze to cut! I decided to make two different cards so she could have a choice, so I made one with the shape card and one with the Silhouette file. The shaped card has the "buttons" raised up on foam tape so they actually push down. Below is the shaped card:
I recently got some CardzTV Stamps and used them on this....I LOVE these stamps! The quality is so wonderful! I was amazed at how nice the stamp came out!! The second card I made I tried a homemade action wobble thing (found the instructions on Youtube) for the controller and it turned out really cute....I'm anxious to see which card she likes the best! Here is the second card:
These were fun to make! Hope you like them, too! God Bless!!!

Miss Terry's Card
Yesterday I found out that a friend's sister had passed away. She was 90 years old, was a veteran of the Navy and served in World War II. Miss Terry (as we affectionately call her) called me about some business things, she retired several years ago but we all still stay in touch. I knew her sister had not been well for some time, and Miss Terry told me that she had passed away last Friday, January 31st. I wanted to send her a card, so this is what I made for her. I used a dark gray for the card base, then black and a lighter gray that I put through an embossing folder. I found some gray ribbon with white dots, so I put that near the bottom, made a bow and placed in the center. Then I cut white cardstock 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 then dark gray 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 put it together and stamped a butterfly and the sentiment "Deepest Sympathy" underneath using silver ink pad. I thought it was a little plain, so I added tiny white pearls down the body of the butterfly. I like how it turned out. I hope she likes it.

Happy New Year!
Well I'm getting here a little late, been working and also making some cards and just haven't updated my goings on. Had a request for a Birthday card for a young man turning 16....so the request was to have a car and keys.....I found a cute cut in Nate's ABC of a boy and dog in a car. I also found some paper with little cars and started looking through my mountain of scraps. It came out cute! For the inside I free handed a fob and key and it turned out better than I thought it would! Here is the outside:
I used an oval and cut out with the blue to give the "sky" view.....I loved how this turned out! The inside is cool, too. I found some numbers that look like a candle and stamped "16" opposite the key and fob. Here is the picture:
I saw that Locker Talk has a key fob and key.....I just cut out something myself and found some shiny silver for the key and then turned over the paper and used the darker grey for one side to give it depth. The ring is just some thin wire I use to make action wobbles....saw that on a you tube video and they work great! Anyway....not too bad! I did color in the number candles, I hope the lady likes it!
Looking forward to a long weekend, maybe I'll have some time for my craft room! I'm planning on it!
Have a wonderful day and God Bless!
Rebecca
UPDATE: The lady liked the card, gave it to the young man with a gift. He was so excited about it, he looked for her after church to make sure to tell you how much he really liked the card...didn't mention his gift! HA! So I was relieved to know that it was a hit!! Now I have to come up with some 16 cards like it for girls!!! :-)

Saturday
Just 3 more days left in this year. Seems to have gone by quickly. Watching Christmas movies and enjoying the relaxed evening. Went to a favorite outlet today....found some neat stuff! Now it is raining outside and it is getting colder. Love this time of year!
